This vibrant stretch of Highway runs along the coast between traditional California beachfront homes and a towering cliff lined with Palm Trees. At this point the rays of the Summer sunset glow directly before your eyes. Pedestrian overpasses are lined with mesh fencing and I found the wire to provide a unique point of interest for this shot.

I took this image after an almost 15 hour flight from Sydney. My whole body was tired but the energy emanating from the lively beachfront was luring me to come walking outside. I was not disappointed.
